JLT In The News
Welcome Johnny P!
Just Like That - August 2021
If you've been to a JLT show this summer you'll recognize a new, but familiar face up on stage! We would like to officially welcome Johnny Pimental as our new bass player. But fret not #JLTNation,
(see what we did there!?), this is not the last you'll see of our beloved Big Pops Mike Guerrieri who, after some pondering decided to take a small hiatus from live shows and take on a "Bass Player Emeritus" status with the band, meaning he can come play anytime and anywhere he darn well pleases. Mike is enjoying some gardening and spending more time with his wonderful wife Vicki. We miss them terribly but are happy they are going to be sticking around and who knows when he may surprise you!
Read about Johnny on our "Band Bio" page and say "Hi!" at our next show.
Just Like That keeping fans entertained during pandemic
Just Like That - September 2020
HYANNIS, MA – While there's much turmoil due to the Covid-19 pandemic, Just Like That are still keeping the music flowing. People need an escape from their daily lives, and music has always provided a means to do just that. There hasn't been a time in recent history when this need has been greater than it is right now. Fortunately there have been some places, like Cape Cod Beer in Hyannis, that have found creative ways to keep live music coming while keeping public safety in mind. Although there have been few live shows, JLT is grateful and blessed to still be performing for all of our fans and friends. Keep your eye on our web site for any new show dates!

PLYMOUTH, MA – "Just Like That", Cape Cod’s own premier party band is thrilled to announce their lead vocalist Amy Marie as winner of this year's “Female Vocalist Of The Year” Limelight Magazine Music Award.
Originally an operatic singer from Connecticut, Amy moved to Brewster and joined the band Just Like That in January 2014. On April 16, 2016 Limelight Magazine held it’s 8th Annual Music Awards Ceremony at the Spire Center For Performing Arts in Plymouth MA with much of New England's best musical talents in attendance. “Limelight Magazine is one of the leading online destinations for coverage of the New England music scene” and the nominating and ultimate voting of artists as winners were completely fan driven with the exception of “Song Of The Year” and “Breakthrough Artist Of The Year” categories. These nominees and winners of these two categories were chosen by local New England radio DJ's including Lori Lori Welch of Pixy 103 and other New England DJs who are supporters of the local music scene. The awards draw talent from all across New England and included several nominations for Cape Cod locals.
